Hey Neighbors,
Am hoping to remind everyone that the follow-up Town Hall to discuss Kayak Racks issues/replacement is scheduled for next Wednesday – September 20th at the Jamaica Clubhouse. We’ll get started at 6:00 PM. The Kayak Rack Task Force has several ideas to share.
Was also planning to introduce myself to those of you who have not yet met me. I’m Drew. I volunteered to serve as the interim JV Director, for the balance of the term.
Since it is rare that we gather as a neighborhood, at the meetings am hopeful of encouraging a few of you to consider volunteering to serve on a Village Committee. There are several pending issues/decisions that I believe are worthy of broader input, as well as an often-voiced consensus that JV could/should do more to use and improve the Clubhouse, for the benefit of the neighborhood.
Honestly, so many of you have kindly offered creative ideas and suggestions. It would be wonderful – and most helpful -- if we could come together as a neighborhood to help implement some of those suggestions.
To get us started, am asking for volunteers who will serve on the following committees:
Exterior Home Paint/Color Palette
JV ‘Capital’ Projects
Social – Clubhouse/Pool/Beach/Events & Parties
Communications/Newsletter (email)…?
Docks
Others?
Please plan on attending and participating in the Town Hall.
