Dear Jamaica Village Owners:
A very successful town hall meeting was held in the Jamaica clubhouse last night with 35 owners in attendance. Newly elected director, Deanna Sheldon, discussed her goals, Village concerns, upcoming projects, and solicited volunteers to serve on task forces for social, docks/kayaks, and landscaping. Shellee Vance was announced as the Village Landscape Coordinator after graciously agreeing to serve again in this role. Plans for future meetings on a quarterly basis were announced.
See Something, Say Something was stressed to assist local police with addressing criminal activity as well as keeping car doors locked after a recent incident involving two individuals casing and attempting to break into cars. Police were alerted and the two individuals were taken into custody. Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. See a potential crime being committed, call 911. Have a non-emergency police matter, call 619-522-7350 for Coronado Police Dispatch. Lastly, call Coronado Cays HOA Safety Patrol at 619-575-8100 for non-police matters.
A copy of the agenda covered at the meeting is attached along with a brainstorming diagram of community interest areas. Interested in volunteering or have a concern or issue to share, please contact Director Deanna Sheldon at dirjamaica@cchoa.org.
Sincerely,
CCHOA Management
