Dear Coronado Cays Residents,

The Coronado Police Department has received complaints regarding dogs off-leash at the Grand Caribe Shoreline Park. Officers are increasing patrols to educate and ensure compliance with the leash requirement in an effort to support the sustained use of the park by everyone. Dogs off-leash can make some people uncomfortable and it is a violation. Officers encountering dogs off-leash will be taking appropriate enforcement action. Officers may document the contacts with a written warning but can issue a citation. The Coronado Police Department is thankful for your support and cooperation.
