Re-Opening of CCHOA Pools

6/22/2020

Dear Homeowners,

The CCHOA Board of Directors has approved the re-opening of two pools at reduced capacity, 7 days a week, with Allied Universal providing monitor services beginning Tuesday, June 16. The two pools will be Trinidad/Kingston Village (18-person reduced capacity) and Port Royale/Mardi Gras Village (12-person reduced capacity). Hours will be 8am-noon and 1-5pm. Pools will close from noon-1pm for lunch breaks and cleaning. COVID-19 Vulnerable Population swim time will be from 8-9:00am daily. Hot tubs remain closed per the San Diego County Health Order.

Residents will be required to show identification that they live in one of the eight villages that have pools (pool key or document showing Cays address). Use of the pools will be based on reservations in 60-minute slots. Sign-up sheets for the following day will be available at the HOA Office. Reservations must be made in person or by phone. Emails or voicemails will not be accepted. Use of the pools will be limited to once per day and no guests will be allowed. Gathering rules are still limited to one person or a family unit.

Residents will be required to sign an Assumption of Risk Agreement and complete a simple COVID-19 symptom screening questionnaire before using the pool. A copy of the Assumption of Risk Agreement is attached and can be filled out ahead of time to minimize the time required to check in. The form will also be available at the check-in desks and on the CCHOA website at www.cchoa.org.

One restroom will be available at each pool and pool furniture will be minimized and located to comply with social distancing requirements. Please do not move the furniture.

Monitors and CCHOA Staff will be sanitizing hard surfaces and touch points on a frequent basis to minimize the potential spread of coronavirus.

Stay safe and stay calm,

CCHOA Management
