Coronado Cays Street Work Notice October - November 2017

10/27/2017

 Street Repair Projects- Updated Schedule

The City of Coronado is preparing to start its annual street preventive maintenance project during the above-mentioned months, which will take place in the Coronado Cays.

Port Royal, St. Kitts, and a portion of Bridgetown Bend will each have their asphalt completely removed and replaced. This work will occur first and will likely commence the second week of October. Pedestrian Ramps along these streets will also be upgraded.

All remaining public streets (except Antigua Court) will receive a slurry seal.

Striping and pavement markings will be temporarily removed/covered so temporary signs and other traffic control measures will be deployed. The entrance of the Coronado Cays will be effected by this work.

Residents will see minor spot repairs being made and striping removed along most streets beginning sometime mid-October. Slurry application will begin shortly thereafter.

Slurry application will require residential streets to be closed to traffic for about 1/2 to 1 full day as the slurry dries (the amount of time dependent on the weather); residents will be notified via door hangers and no parking signs several days ahead of any work adjacent to their property.
