Beware of Mosquitoes!

The ones most common in San Diego are Aedes Aegypti.

 

These mosquitoes prefer small containers to breed in, live closely among people, and therefore do very well in urban environments. It is very important and everyone’s responsibility to remove any standing water from their property to prevent breeding. Not only are these mosquitoes a huge nuisance, but they have the capability to transmit diseases. We are asking that people spread the information about these invasive mosquitoes because knowledge and awareness are our best tools in combating them. Prevention is key!
